Infrastructure as code in general-purpose languages such as TypeScript, Python and Go, with an AI assistant in Pulumi Cloud.
Pulumi lets teams write infrastructure as code in programming languages they already use, including TypeScript, Python, Go, C# and Java, instead of a separate configuration language. The core engine is open source, and Pulumi Cloud adds state storage, secrets, policy and a team dashboard.
Pulumi has built AI features into its cloud service that answer questions about your stacks and generate infrastructure code from a description. Writing infrastructure in a full language makes loops, functions and tests easy, but it also lets code get clever; agree on conventions and keep reviews strict. Check how state and secrets are stored and who can run updates against production stacks. Its previews show proposed changes before an update, and they belong in code review the same way a Terraform plan does.
